Quickstart · Developer Preview 0.3.0.dev2
Simulation-only unified SDK for Software, Device and Hybrid. Motion is optional and disabled without explicit declarations and permissions. The audited archive retains its original Private Candidate name and pre-publication metadata. The website release manifest records the later public-preview authorization. Read the unchanged approved Portuguese license included in the ZIP.
Install in a dedicated environment
Python 3.11+ with venv and pip. The wheel has no runtime dependencies. Do not install alongside aicontinue-capabilities or into a Core, voice or production environment. Extract the ZIP into a fresh directory and verify the external SHA-256 and the bundled MANIFEST.json/CHECKSUMS.sha256 inventory.
python -m venv ../candidate-env
../candidate-env/bin/python -I -m pip install --no-index --no-deps dist/aicontinue_adapter_candidate-0.3.0.dev2-py3-none-any.whl
../candidate-env/bin/python -I tools/run_candidate_tests.py --output ../candidate-test-results.json
../candidate-env/bin/python -I tools/run_examples.py --consumer ../candidate-consumer --output ../candidate-reports/examples.jsonOn Windows, replace ../candidate-env/bin/python with ../candidate-env/Scripts/python.exe. The package distribution is aicontinue-adapter-candidate 0.3.0.dev2; the preserved base namespace aicontinue_capabilities.__version__ remains 0.2.0. See README.md, docs/en/CONTRACT.md, SECURITY.md and PHYSICAL_TESTS.md in the ZIP. Use communication.validate_request/validate_response for the combined contract; the legacy validators remain base-only.
Validation and limits
59 PASS, 0 FAIL, 5 BLOCKED; all four supplied examples passed. Pending: physical safety, measured hardware safe-state, real device transport, authenticated Core integration and official certification. Local simulation is not evidence of real robot control or safety. The free SDK supports development and pre-certification; the Certified seal requires AIContinue approval for the ecosystem integration, model/version and capabilities.
